Hi all, just wondering what you guys think is better substrate for a thick-tailed geck, i have him on sand currently as did his previous owner, just wondering if more people think bark or something else is better then sand. Also for a 3 month old about 3 or 4 medium crickets is fine for a feed right? He sure looks fat after 3 anyway lol.

Yeh should be fine-I keep my thick tailed geckos on URS Red Desert Sand, and i keep it moist, then i scatter bark around it. I will try and find some pics of their setup later on then post it :)

Cheers, dunno what sand mine is... real fine like bird sand or something i think. He just has a little hide and a chinese food container with damp paper towl in it that he seems to enjoy hiding under or inside.. dont really like the hide lol.
