im thinking of making an enclosure with 3 glass sliders in the front, or 2 long ones with 3 sections for bearded dragons, but instead of making dividers out or melamine make them from glass so they can still see each other.
just thought its something different than looking at 3 stacked enclosures
any thoughts?

Sounds like a good idea... You could maybe even put the glass on runners (grooves in the melamine that the glass can slide on) then you could always socialise the beardies if you wanted..... although if you have heat lamps they would have to be big enough so each beardie still has a cooler section available to them....... But sounds like it could be done.... :)

Yeah that would work then u could have 4 enclosures with a solid melamine wall in the middle two.... that would cut down on heating boths ends of the middle enclosures and then it could still be turned into 2 enclosures if you have a big animal or want to socialise reptiles...

That's an excellent idea can't wit to see it finished if you decide to go along with it.

sounds great mate really like adfels ideas about the sliding glass would also add a difference to the standard stack...

yeah thats the idea other wise im using and old gitted cupboard taken the hanger and drawers out and making 2 high with timber doors to match as close as i can and glass inserts

just watch if you have boys close together as they will probably run into the glass and head bob and stress them selves out but otherwise a good idea

nah there all girls hopefully
a brown a yellow and a white comong this year

Sorry to burst the - 'that sounds great' - theme of this!
Even with girls, much as your enclosure sounds great for humans, the possiblities of them having dominance issues is large, therefore it is probably ill-advised to go ahead with your idea, no matter how 'pretty' it'll look.
Sorry......:|
