About a year ago the price for the Liasis doubled because our manufacturer changed their policy on how they cut small orders. The cost for the handle went from $18 to about $37 each. We were facing having to increase the price to about $45-$55. So instead we had to drop the line - a lot of people were sad it had to be dropped.
We have recently tried to revitalise this product by significantly rethinking a new manufacture method. Below is what we have come up with. An etched stainless veneer over a 4mm Black acrylic base and stainless screw sleeves. The etch design can be anything so we can do the Aspidites and Spilota vesions of this aswell.
This is still in design phase and we still need to source all the components and do some testing. The new method should definitely be cheaper than before and we hope to see this handle below the $10 mark to you.
