I use a cat litter tray for the water bowl for my water python

i use the water catcher trays off the bottom of indoor pots. The one I've got in my display enclosure is about 35x35 and about 10cm deep. Has curved edges too.View attachment 289494

In the past I've siliconed a plastic dog's bowl to the centre of a water catcher tray to eliminate spillage onto substrate.

To avoid the snake tipping the bowl I strategically insert screws holding it in place, if you place the bowl in a corner then 3-4 screws should stop all movement while still allowing it to be removed for cleaning etc.

I'm using ceramic dog bowls, kitty litter trays, plant pot tray thingies, and for the smaller snakes and the shinglebacks, some dessert trays that I... ...appropriated *shifty eyes* from the cruise ship I went on a little while ago. They're perfect for the smaller ones, and just high enough to paint the sides with fluon and put roaches in for feed time.
