Thought I'd get over my fear and introduce myself

I'm Mel (as the name suggests) and I'm in the process of getting my first snake.. I just received my license and the enclosure is almost done. I'm not 100% sure what breed of snake I want yet but have narrowed it down to a short list now

I live north of Brisbane (way north really LOL) i'm 28 and the mum of three kids that may turn into snake food if they keep up the way they are atm

Hi ya Mel...
I'm 26 with 2 boys and I could definatly put my eldest in there with my little snake but they just get along too well...
Welcome to APS, this is one of the friendliest forums you'll ever join!

Thank you for your welcomes :)

My short list contains a Stimson, a Childrens & a spotted.. I'd like a coastal but thought i'd *start* off a little smaller than work up

Go for a Stimmie there the best looking one out of all the Antaresia family.
And they only grow to 1m-1.2m.

Love stimmie
