Banding for looks definitely. The reduced pattern is good for increasing its worth but personally I don't think it compares cosmetically.

i do like the cleaner markings aswell but i do like the reduced pattern, i would fix the problem by buying both

I have a couple there that have reduced banding sie while maintaining a good contrast maybe that is the middle ground
