I got pulled over in Goulburn once and had a bag of nettles in the car and they wanted to arrest me for it. Took me half an hour to convince them it wasn't weed. The younger cop realised fairly quickly but the old one was convinced he was onto something.

N.A.T.O it probably doesn't help with where you (or i, close to Orange) live lol, they were probably hoping for a revenue raise for a big bust. I can't believe they thought someone could be so stupid, then again there probably are people that stupid out there.
I bet if it was Sydney or somewhere more populated then they wouldn't have batted an eyelash.
Glad they believed you and i have to agree that a LOT of fake plants even ones from proper pet brands look like pot.
