how many woodies would i need to start a breeding colony?

I'm just in the process of setting up a woodie colony and I've been advised to get 1000 adults, 500 babies and 500 small.

All depends on what you intend to feed though. I currently have 2 x 9 month old pygmy bearded dragons, 1 x 5 month old central netted dragon and 1 x 8 month old central bearded dragon so I need the smaller 2 sizes so I can feed straight away but if you have larger animals you could get away with just getting adults.
