hey guys,
seen in the forsale part a week back, about wild caught rabbits to feed to your snakes, would you guys do this?
just interresting to see what some people say...

My friend has a bunny, and its the most adorable thing ever! so I could never do it... but then, I have nothing large enough to feed a rabbit to either :p

If i remember correctly if you freeze them for a few weeks you will kill all the worms and nasties, then your all ok to offer as food.

i have no problems witrh feeding them rabbits if they have been breed specificly for snake food but i wouldnt use ferrel rabbits .....even if they have been frozen.....still dont know if they can give my snake any nasties

I would use them if they came from a reliable supplier or if i got them myself.

id use them, id make sure they had been frozen for atleast a month or two. wild herps eat them and do fine, so supplying captives with them after they have been frozen should be fine imo. having said that id never buy them ;)
