Unusual EWD Shed

I have had my EWD (Zakk) for a few years now every single shed he has had hes gotten brighter RED across the chest area obviously indicating he's a boy. The other day i saw he was shedding and i didnt think nothing of it but yesterday i picked him up and had a look on his stomach only to notice he's got absolutely no red at all on it :| It's gone a very light pinky grey colour same as on his back. Im confused as what this means? If anyone has any advice or knows whats going on please Let me know

Are you able to upload any pictures ? Are you sure it is a male? as I have a pair of ewds and the one I thought was going to be male turned out to be female, the one that I thought was a little female has turned out to be a male.
