Feeding my snake

Ok so my snake is on hoppers ATM ... I have been putting it in warm water too thaw it out but I have recently been told that I shouldn't do this ?

Is what I'm doing right ?

How water from the tap is fine, just not boiling water.

water wont do any damage. if it eats it then great. keep doing it.

i put the mice in a small lunch bag first then put them in hot tap water

I put my wean rats in a ziplock then into hottish water for about 2 hours(from frozen solid), does the trick wonderfully.

I use the hottest water available from the tap, it does not cook the rat/mice from frozen. I just put the rodent into a disposable cup and fill it with hot tap water then dry out the mice with kitchen towel (tissue), i've read up that some people leave it wet for lubricant, im not sure if the water does help digestion in any way but as long as you don't boil the water, you are not doing anything wrong.
