has anyone seen the amount of assist/non feeding albino carpet hatchlings for sale? must just be me but last time i checked (or bred) carpets were easy to get going if healthy....maybe because they are albinos they don't get culled? hope they didn't breed any normals that were stubborn feeders

im no expert on albinos but have bred snakes for many years, this year was my first breeding of albinos and i had a hell of a time getting them started.
the hets from the same clutch had no trouble feeding
i was going to ask the same question my self.

It's not because they are albino's that they are difficult to start.
I have hatched 7 clutches of albino's and hets (120) and so far not a single animal has been forced or assisted.

All species can and do have specimens which can frustrate even the most experienced keeper, albinism has nothing to do with it.
