Hi everyone

Just wanting to know a few things to do with my stimsons enclosure. I'm currently using a heat lamp with a 75w basking globe. I'm wanting to change to a heat chord underneath. I'm unsure on a good thermostat to get. I've seen some pretty fancy ones and some just straight forward ones. I'm also then wondering if I can fit some led strips for lighting into the top of the enclose(inside). Just wondering if that's a good idea or not?

Thanks for any input you guys can give me.
Kind regards
Cam

This is my most recent enclosure design.

I heat this enclosure with heat cord routed into the suspending level and I covered the cord with pegboard.

This turns the underside of the shelf, into a radiating heat panel and the topside of the shelf, into a heat mat. So the python can pick what kind of heat it feels like.

The thermostat probe, is directly on the upper-side of the shelf.

I also use LED lighting on this enclosure. Works great.

I should probably add a picture of how the heat cord is routed in.

Consider an led night light for soft night time lighting. Turns on and off by itself. Uses bugger all power.
