yeah..get a dog....
i have 3 amstaffs in my yard and someone would have to be insane to jump my fence at night...if they did...they probably wouldnt make it out again.
i have had people try to jump but i think they see the dogs and decide against it....

Had several nocturnal nonce visits over the years, here, and in London. Never managed to catch one of em. Always been at a time in between dogs. Moral.. Nonces dont like dogs.:)

Did you have your washing on the line?? :)

We were down there recently and a mate told me he found one of the "locals" snowdropping off his clothes line.
He whipped him a fair few times with the garden hose!! ;) :)

this is exactly why im going to buy a manstopping doberman;)

A few years back my sister was getting some one coming into her yard knocking on window etc. We knew it was someone from her street cause he seemed to know when her husband was away and thats when he would visit.
She ended up borrowing a dog (ridgeback, ex pig dog) but when her husband went away again she heard the man in her yard again she looked out the window to see him patting the dog, he stayed there long enough that she called her brother in law who came and chased him away.

Eventually she got sick of this happening so she got a very scary mask and a toy gun, the next time he came knocking on her window she put the mask on and used the toy gun to open the blinds, she said that she had never heard a man scream like he did he jumped back over the fence and never visited her again :D

I wouldn't be without my dogs. I used to have some lowlife peeping in my windows at night & knocking on the walls! [ Mertle, sometimes these things do happen in the country. Scum are everywhere!] We fenced the front yard and gave the dogs total access all round. The peeper gives my house a miss now. The thing is tho, we know who it is & the cops know but we cant prove it!!! :x

I am glad I have my dogs too, even if there are 5 of the little blighter's!

But barking dogs do put people off, They have worked for us a couple of times.

Christ! These stories are disturbing, people go into backyards and tap on your windows? What, do you think they were casing the place or something? Freaky!

Recently during the day somone came to my house and stole a giant hand made plaster of paris mosquito (about 1 meter long) that was hanging from the balcony. My sister was inside during their attempts to remove it but was to scared to do anything.

Hahaha, nothing keeps them out. I used to have a Murray Grey bull in the front paddock and the bible bashers just walked straight past him to get to the house!! Now thats faith!!:lol:

A do not knock we are pagans works a treat, hang that on the front door, we have!!! , they don't knock!
