I'm having one of those afternoons at work; bored and unmotivated! Although I enjoy having access to APS all day, I have to use this POS Windows based PC.. I miss my mac... I can't wait till I get home!!

So.. What are you? PC or Mac?

MAC
All the way.
Unless your really into computers then PC
But for your average joe who just likes stuff that is simple, fast and can do a whole lot more when you look into it, MAC

I was PC for years.... Spent ridiculous amounts of cash on em too.. Bought a Mac about 12 months ago to learn a little about them and haven't looked back!

Average joe.... with a billion dollars to spend

Meh the amount of money we spent on our desktop, on virus scans software updates and such would be much more than the 2 grand then I spent on my laptop.

Although I will admit that it did stuff up. The wire that connected that hardrive was faulty. I sent it in three times replaced the hardrive every time free of charge. Then found out it was the faulty wire and again replaced it free of charge.
Lesson learnt: Warranties are awesome

agreed...

I think I've just become anti-Mac since the new ipod shuffle require mac headphones to use...which break. A lot.

Since when did that happen. That's the dumbest thing ever. I mean having to use only one sort of headphones.
Headphones that come with any MP3 player are horrible. You need quality ones (at least i do) with MP3 because they reduce the amount of bass and mid range frequencies when converted into MP3. That's retarded!
...why would you buy a shuffle:p

PC because i like gaming :p, mac imo are mainly for those who like editing photo's movies and all that fun stuff.

pc all the way for me, i cant stand anything apple related, iphone, ipod, ipad ive hated them since primary school having to use them for school work really sucked.

What about Linux.
I've heard its better than both.
All the software is free and is basically the same if better than windows

Yes and no.... For everyday use, basic things are easy to do.... But a small amount of programing knowledge is really needed to get past the basics...

True
I've never used it, my friends dad just goes on about it until he gets angry at me and makes me eat his food (Italians)

They've evened themselves out much more these days - I would have once agreed - for editing of photos and even editing music a Mac would have been the way to go...

But now - I have a new Windows based Alienware which outdoes any Mac I've seen...

But there's still so many issues with the Windows platform which does worry me.

However, I prefer my PS3 with a Linux base - works pretty well for gaming :)

---- Note ----

In 2006, Macintosh switched over to Intel dual-core microprocessors. This makes a Macintosh able to run the Windows operating system.

Hence my first line suggesting they're even stevens now a days!

I run a Hackintosh on an Intel PC! Cost me 1/3 the price of a Mac Pro...
