when naming my first python I looked at the names of places within the species range ie. mountain, river, region, town, station etc. I ended up naming him after an aboriginal tribe in an area of his range. There are some great names within the range of the water python. It is just something a little different than george or monty.

i was thinking about nameing her after the rainbow serpent from the aboriginal dream time stories however it turns out that it was a male named Goorialla so it kinda doesnt fit lol

i forgot to mention the reason she doesnt like it is because i seem to always choose names ending with a y, my other pythons are called bundy, chucky, ruby and envy....

okay so here is my list
- H2O
- Vapor
- Storm
- Hail or Haily but it does end in a y again lol
- Ice
- Rain
- Glacier
- Crystal
- Crystal eyes
hope that helps lol, probably didnts

What about just Rialla or Ria? Bit more feminine sounding - I quite like Rialla :)

Katherine,
Lota,
willow (name of one of mine)
Sarah
Siam

I will keep thinking. And I know it's off topic sorry but the rats are doing great Thanks heaps they kids love them to pieces.

Aroona which is aboriginal for 'Running water'.... Even though your type of water slithers!

Honestly......you just cant go past Warren.....its a good strong name for a snake......boy or girl......Warren will be fine.

"Razor", "Lightning", or "pass me the bandaids"
