Hi all

currently i have 2 beardies in a 1200 x 800 x 800 (4 foot) enclosure

They have a 100w heat lamp on and the warm end is getting to 32.5 and cool end 25-28 degrees

Should i get a larger heat lamp and if so what wattage will give me more heat? aka up to 35+

The enclosure is timber so holds the heat well

Any help would be great

cheers

Em

I don't think you'll need a higher wattage as those temps seem fine,
What's the basking temp?

38-40* head height under basking light....cool end 20-23*

can you put a pick up?
were are your vents?

You just need to put something(branch, rock etc) closer to the light for them to bask on. 40C or more is ideal for the basking spot. There shouldnt be any need for more powerful heating.

vent is down bottom near floor of enclosure
and i have a branch right under it so they can crawl close to it.

Will this be ok?

The digital termometer is on heat side at moment near top and it says 30 degrees?
