One of my levis eggs was deflated and and was starting to look mouldy. So I opened it on the 64th day and saw a fully formed levis levis baby dead. Its tail was very very thin and looked like a normal lizards tail.
Around day 60 I saw it starting to deflate, then i added water and it rehydrated the egg.
The eggs were stuck together throughout the whole incubation. (was this the cause?)
Im just wondering was the reason for its death was and if I can prevent it from happening again? Is this a common problem?
The other egg is on its 65th day and is looking normal. Hopefully due to hatch soon.
