just looked on www.herptrader.com.au there is someone selling 20 diamond pythons the lot for $5000.00 makes it $250 per snake, not bad if you have 5 big ones.

Yer saw that aswell marc not a bad if ya have 5large ready to spend. :p
I would feel bad turning around and selling for more though.
Atleast you could pick the ones showing the best talent.

or you could rear them for a year and they and swop them or sell for more if you wish

Don?t think it?s all that cheap, considering the total outlay ($ 5000) and all the problems one can face till they are all sold.
Don?t think they are even feeding yet.
Well they did not have their first shed yet anyway.
I reckon he?ll take offers a lot less.
But then I could be wrong.

I wouldnt get them becouse of the problems one could have specially up in Brissie, the dont like the heat to much

I know bloke who sell them individually for 250 here in Sydney

well thats even better :D

May there be another problem with buying 20, don't you have to hold onto them for 6-12 months before you can re-sell? I seem to remember someone saying something about that!
Forgive my ignorance in the matter!

Neil

Yeah, you right, if you are not the original breeder.
6month.

BTW Slatey,
wasn?t ether looking for a little Diamond and had to wait for them to hatch,
I think from the chick at the reptile barn.
He may as well buy from the guy you know, saves him the entire wait.
I think he has all the set-up, just waiting fore snakie to move in.
Just a thought.

pet shop(not that I like petshops) or a group of herpers looking for the same species

People that think they can make money on them!
It?s the only reason I can think of.
Why do people (majority) breed their snakes?
