hey all i only just got a young EWD i already know a fer bit about them i just have a few questions that i know would not be on the net.
first question
would it be possible to keep an EWD with a gippsland water dragon and
is it possible to cross breed the EWD with the GWD the only reason i ask is i have a male EWD and my partner wants a female GWD
and dose and one know there growth rate (how long would it take for 1 EWD to out grow a 4ft fish tank i just wont to know when i should start building a new enclosure)

Eastern Water Dragons grow reasonably fast within 12 months they will reach 2ft+ & by 2 years they will be at least 3ft....Definitely start doing your new enclosure sooner rather than later.

Cross breeding Gippy's with Easterns is not only a bad idea it's creating a hybrid. Keep them pure if you partner wants a female get a female Eastern not Gipsland.

thanx for that i was just asking could you keep a EWD male and GWD male together im just asking
