Cheers again Steve, the only other name that they go by that comes to name is just their scientific one; Morelia Spilota Imbricata, colouring in this species varies alot depending on the local, much like coastals. This little guy is Geraldton locale and the mother of this boy is a stunning example of what they can look like, which are usually alot lighter in colouration with more earthy browns. Others can be much more dark with little white, theres also a line floating around further south of the state that displays quite a blue tinge depending on the specimen.
Heres a shot of this boy taken a month or so ago, going to be interesting to see how his colours change as he gets older. Hes a year old at the moment.
