So I have put a big piece of 80mm round bamboo in my cape York carpets enclosure, it lays at about 30°. Tonight when I put him back in the enclosure, I put him up the top of it, he slithered off me onto it, but then as he went to move down it he slid down half way to where there is another branch. He is just a yearling and about 700mm long. Any ideas on this, did he internationally slide down it? Should I try cut groves into it? Any other ideas?
