Another thermostat question

I have a new microclimate ministat 300. The temp range from on to off is about 4 degrees.
Is this about normal? Are all thermostats the same?

apparently my thermostat is only ment to vary 1 degree C.... but it wavers up and down by two or three.. its normal. but worries me in an incubator..

Yeah they all do it but 4 degrees is pretty good for an on/off type thermo. The term for temp range between switching is known as hysteresis
