are ducks as good as chickens

I see every one talking about day old chick but haven't seen any think about ducks
do they have similar protein ect. what are your thoughts

I think people tend not to use ducks because of the higher fat content.

Nothing wrong with variety but yes just things like ducks can have higher fat content same as over weight xxxl breader rats....so ok in small amounts i say

I doubt that there would be much difference between the nutritional content of day old ducks and day old chickens. In Australia you are far more likely to find wild ducklings than you are to find chicks. As i have said before no-one seems to know what the optimal nutritional requirements for snakes are, so it is hard to determine what is best. If ducklings do have more fat than chickens, Is that bad??
