Hi Guys
I have just put in for my license and waiting on this and in the mean time I am wondering about what to keep my pythons in?
I have been offered 1x 18"Wx18"Dx2'L and 1x 18"Wx18"Dx2'H atriums for 2 spotted pythons I am getting (my first snakes). I have been toying with the idea of making an "L" shaped structure out of both by butting them together.
The concern I have is heating something like this, as the litterature I have read so far says I need a cooler section down one end and a warmer in the other, and reading what has been put out by the EPA that snakes will relate a light source to heat as well.
If I place the lamp in the taller section do you think it would supply enough heat throughout. Is there some formual that you guys use to workout heating or is this hit and miss?
Would the design work? (I want to be able to keep both together and see them climb)
Any thoughts would be great.
