Beardie Question

Hi all,
I am picking up my bearded dragon in a couple of days and my question is (im sure its been asked), how long is the settling in period? When should I start to handle him/her?
btw im getting an 8 week old baby.

Hey, for an 8 week old I would suggest bring it home and let it settle in first. Once it is feeding and settled and seeming happy it should be fine to handle - especially if the breeder has been handling it. Sorry can't be more specific but it depends on the bub - I know the ones that I have sold have fed pretty much within an hour of arriving at their new home and have been handled from that night/the next day ok.

It can sometimes depend on the personality like MD said, most settle in the next day.

You can handle them straight away all bd hatchies a pretty good and dont stress.
Then theres always the odd 1 that might stress a bit.I move my hatchies around different tubs and handle them everyday and all ok.
