Can pygmy or central bearded dragons live happily in an enclosure that is much higher than wider?
For example a 70cm high 50cm across and 50cm deep enclosure?
If this is too small how about a 1m high and 50cm across and deep?

I guess I would just like to know if they primarily hang out on the ground or if rock ledges and plants were provided would they happily live in a tall enclosure?

You can keep both those species in enclosures that are higher than they are wide. Just make sure they can get under a heat source and have plenty of appropriately sized branches to climb on. Personally I think 50cm is a little too small though.

Hey thanks for that.
Very informative.
I'll bookmark that for reference with all my purchases.
