It was about $100, its pretty great, but I could only find it's much more expensive brother....

These ones have dual lasers, so you don't guess your spot distance ratio, and they have adjustable emissivity, for going nerd.

All I've ever used, $10 - perfect. 9V battery lasts 12 months easy.

I also use the ebay one, looks exactly the same as the jaycar one. I think I paid about 20 bucks

jaycar sell a.mini sized one for under 30 bucks i cant fault it except it is a bit hard to find at times .
