Hey im getting some blonde spotteds and was wondering what they are.
Is blonde a mutation or what. If so is it co dom or something.
Thanks

Blonde macs are locale specific, i think from cape york down to cooktown?
Please correct my locations if i am wrong :)

No worries...also just be careful who u buy off, ive heard that alot of people just slap the name on their macs cause their a little lighter then usuall but they are not true blondes. :)
Alot of other people can give a better description tho as i dont know a whole lot about them.

they can be called blonde whether they are from any local... the "Blonde" refers to their base colour not where they are from, selling a cooktown blonde is when locality comes into it

albino93 is correct.
They were brought into the hobby years ago from animals obtained from around Cooktown. They are lighter than normal looking macs and also grow a bit larger.

like i said in my comment from cooktown, but if a spotted has the lighter base colour but is not from a pure locality history like many lines in the reptile trade would you not still call it a normal blonde apposed to a cooktown blonde?
