brunation

HI every-one,
I have a frill neck who is 6 years old now and for the first time last year he put him-self into brunation which scared the cr--p out of me as i thought he was sick but turning out come spring he was running around the enclosure and house as normal.
Well he has just done it again this year,i searched the net looking for information about it but it does not say much what i was wondering do i leave his heat light on while he sleeps for the winter.
Any help would be great

Yes, leave his heat light on, just shorten the time it is on for down to around 8hrs during the day and he can get cool during the night.

Hi and thank you , i have been doing everything right adjusted the time a few weeks ago as soon as he went into hiding now all i have to do is wait for spring
