Getting a pair of roughies in a couple of weeks, and i have decided to make up two melamine tanks for them. I was thinking of making a 2ft enclosure for them with added height due to being arboreal, and making my own rock wall background for them to climb onto, with crevasses to simulated the cliffs they naturally live around. I was also thinking of adding a branch or two with some vine perches. I was wondering if anyone could give me any more ideas or change what I have going before i start making it, to make it more suited to Rough scales? I found it hard to find information on enclosure set up as many people kept them in large display cabinets, or in tubs which i wont be doing except for a quarantine period when i first acquire them. I have some 4ft tanks here but i feel like they are no high enough for an arborial species, i think they are 450mm high.
