Hi guys.

I was wondering if anyone can identify this little fella. I saw him on my cornice inside the house one morning and have no idea what he could be (except that he is some kind of Gecko)

He is about 12cm long.
He didn't appear to have claws.
He was quite pale, but later in the day (he slept there for a while before moving on) he defo became a darker brown colour, almost black.
He didn't have any spikes and was very smooth.

I have scoured books and websites - but still cannot imagine what he is.
I assume he likes to eat the crickets in the loft - there are plenty about up there.

I live in Perth Western Australia . . . whatever he is - surely he must be a long way from home . .?

Any guesses?

Thanks guys - your advice is appreciated. :D

Christinus marmoratus, common in Perth around buildings and under bark.
