I am asking if you have lights on a night because they are nocturnal or can you switch the time to day or will the be unhappy
I don’t own one yet
just asking

Not 100% sure what you're asking but I've seen that the general rule is 12hrs with the lights on (during the day), 12hrs with the lights off (during the night), they will be most active when its dark. Messing with this natural day/night cycle can stress them out and will eventually cause problems.

Use heat mat not lamps, keeps more stable temp and uses less power, lights on at night is fine so long as you turn it off when you go to bed, I don't have a light in the enclosure because gets enough light from the room, but yes they're more active when you turn the lights off and they need a day night cycle.
