Roughy body with a keelback head.so I vote keelback.

I'd have a guess, but apparently we can't guess....we have to know, and we have to know what other people know, but we can't be sure we know it until they tell us what they know. of course we don't know who the people are who can tell us what we know, so we need to figure that out too. And then we need to be sure they know what they know. And god help us if they get it wrong too because then it will rain frogs.
I can always tell when you have been reading Donald Rumsfeld again - haven't you ! http://politicalhumor.about.com/cs/quotethis/a/rumsfeldquotes.htm

At the time of writing the vote is 69.70% for the roughie which, I'm glad to say, seems to be correct. I am under the impression that rough-scales and keelbacks are difficult to tell apart and the two easiest ways the tell them apart are
a/ roughies have fangs - not a recommended way to find out
b/ roughies have undivided subcaudial scales as shown in the photo below

Keelbacks also have less mid body scales, you can also tell buy the vibe of it.

All that, plus they don't look very similar to me.
Very different scales, patterns and head shape. Although patterns aren't always a good indication as Roughie's can vary, but as far as I know, Keelbacks in SE Qld dont. They are different in colour up north though.

Rumsfeld is God! Proving to the world that it's not intelligence, truthfulness or a sense of what's right that gets you ahead in life, the man has pioneered the art of just blazing on through and saying whatever the hell he feels like. I guess the idea is if you can't dazzle them with brilliance then baffle them with bull...well you get the idea. My kinda man, never let the truth get in the way of a good excuse :D
