Hi i would really like to know how to breed drawn carpets. I'm very new to breeding and I would like as much information as possible like when to cool them down and how long for and incubation temps and humidity etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Get your hands on a copy of Mike Swans "Keeping and Breeding Australian Pythons" and read, read and read. Although I would doubt you would find "Drawn" Carpets in his books.

Ok thanks for your help. Lol sorry meant to be darwin carpet pythons

Just a note for the future, it helps you out tremendously if you proof read before you post and also let the folks know what you have done so far before asking for advise. There's absolutely nothing wrong with asking for help and advise, but folks will be less inclined to help if they can see you haven't put the effort into the initial foray for information.

I'm not sure where your located but me personally,

I heat and feed everything normally until the end of April, I keep my males lean and put as much weight on my girls as possible.

from May onwards is when I cool and the adults are no longer fed, as Cairns doesn't get to cool even in the middle of winter I don't do much heat from then on. They will occasionally get a few hours of heat in the morning if it gets really cold.

i want introduce males until June/July at the earliest.

Carpet pythons arnt to difficult to breed and there's heaps of information available online, check out sxr site.
