well as im a noob i have got some questions about knob tail eggs.

here we go last night i placed my eggs into a incubator and what not, noticing that they were a bit soft now this being my first clutch of eggs i dont know much about them but im sure that when i pick them up they shouldn't dent right? . i noticed they were extreemtly soft as i was candling them but they are fertile any suggestions to harden them up?

my first eggs (amyae) were soft and infertile, the latest eggs are hard and fertile,..try incubating them anyway, if they smell horrible in a week or so you'll know theyre duds,...

They are soft when first laid, but should firm up.
I've found infertile eggs are usually alot softer, but if they did have a germinal disc when candled then I'd say you just got them not long after laying

Thanks Chris i had heard there first clutch is almost all ways dud .

i know there softer than chicken eggs but these seem to soft.

Anyone else got any ideas?

well i did candle them later on like 3hours after and they were still soft but showing a good pink disc in each of the eggs i guess ill just wait it out until they go bad or hatch =D
and thanks for the help geckoman =D
