I have a 9 month old beardie a tank 1 metre by half a metre at the moment and very shortly im going to buy a year old beardie. I understand the two should be seperated so I need to buy a new enclosure. I was thinking of buying one of the exo terra mesh cages for the 2 year old and instead of giving him uv in the cage put him out in the sun every day but im not really sure. some advice would be great

i wouldnt put them in the sun every day, you would need to offer adequate temperature gradient and plenty of places to hide from the sun.

How about buying or building a 1200 L x 500 H x 600 D and put a divider in it.
Glass doesn't hold the heat as well as wood.

A adult bearded dragon needs 4x2x2 floor space PER dragon. A 1200x500x600mm will be to small for the adult..

I don't think 4ft would be too small for an adult.

He said to put something in the middle to make two vivs, meaning that would be 2foot instead of 4foot.
