so ive been thinking for my new BHP adding a bit of a false bottom about 12-15 cm from the bottom (can still see in a little from the front) and throwing a hole in there for a hide for her. being a BHP she wants to burrow under anything so why fight it. and thoughts ? cons ?

I want to do the same think for my woma, the problem I see is access for cleaning etc, this is sort of what I was thinking of. Its a split setup with a big block of hebel (shaped into a large flat rock)with a tunnel, glued over the hole down into the diy rock walled/lined 'burrow' enclosure, maybe even a few red leds on a switch down there for viewing

yeah thats why i figured just keeping it simple inside the burrow and putting some aspen bedding in there over building a tunnel. then just scrape it all out when cleaning
