i have 5 young Eastern Long Necks, one (puddles) was a yr older when i got him than the other 4, but he's also blind. one of my turtles (izzy) is sooo hungry, she will stuff her mouth full of food so much that her neck doubles in fatness until she can swallow it all. izzy is now bigger than puddles and has priamiding of the scales (forgot the proper name) on her shell. i feed them all in the one container, but place puddles and amber (the smallest) in first for a few min head start, and izzy in last after jasper and kosci have also been given a little head start. is there any reason why izzy may be growing so fast and be soo hungry to stuff herself. i feed them every 2nd day with home made turtle pudding. i dont want to starve her, but i know she shouldnt be growing so fast, any suggestions?
