feeding lace monitors

hey people im just wondering if im feeding my 8 month lace monitor enough im feeding him 3 rats and kangaroo meat a week(what i was told to feed by local pet shop) thanks for all advice.

Most monitors (aussie lizards even) will store excess fat in their tails so I always look at the plumpness of their tails as a sign of condition.

The reality is that if they are being fed regularly you are more likely to overfeed than underfeed.
