Hi I would appreciate any advise you guys have in regards to setting up an enclosure for a coastal carpet python. When I do finally purchase my pet I will get a hatchling but I will buy a large cage straight up as I don't want to waist money on smaller ones when I'm going to need a rather tall one when it gets older.
What type of heating do I require, I have been told all I need is a heat mat and a UV light, I would have thought I would need another heat light for basking???Please help me, I want to have it all set up before I purchase my snake.
(I will be keeping it in a smaller container in the lager cage while its young).
