Hi guys,
I was wondering what would be the maximum cage dimsions for a SOUTHERN SPOTTED VELVET GECKO? Would 595mm squared be enough for 2 females and a male? How do i heat it? It gonna be made out of white melamine. Could i use a heat light or just a mat? Do they need uvb? I am soo excited my gek iznt gonna die because he ate a cricket for me tonight.

Also if i use a heat light do i use any cages to cover the light? And is 28 degrees hot enough? They r at 33 atm.

Yes 28 degrees is hot enough for these guys, they dont need it as hot as other oeduras. If you use a heat light definitely use a cage othewise they could be burnt if they climb on it, i prefer mats. No need for lighting. That size cage is way enough space for a trio
