Hi

I am going to get a gecko for a first reptile.
If you can suggest a good type.
Or any tips or equipment i need, it would be good 4 advice.

Tips would be appreciated,

Most people start out with levis or thick taileds though.

i would recomend marbled gecko's as a first gecko!

thick tailed gecko's are good also though.

i posted a thread with some pics of my marbled gecko's, it is titled '' gecko Q's '' !
 
I like the smooth knob tailed
It looks like a good first pet/reptile
 
Don't be put off by arboreal species either. As a rank novice, I started with Lesueurs and they are awesome. Cheeky little buggers that keep you on your toes, but great fun.
 
Personally, when looking for a new reptile, I look on youtube, so I can see how they move look and feed.
