Heat Cord Spacing

Hi All

I am currently building an enclosure for the first time - really enjoying the task too!

Question - I have routed out rebates for heat cord - my spacing is about 10 mm - does anyone know what is a good gap between runs for cord on the bottom of an enclosure? - I know the closer it is the warmer it will be - but has anyone worked out what works best?

mine is about ________________ that long on my screen lol i would say mine is roughly 5-6 cm i have found with this distance with the use of tiles it creates an even heat source IMO

The closer you put it the hotter it gets in a more concentrated area too (obviously) so you just gotta spread it enough for a good mix of size and temp
