we built a new enclosure the other day, 4ft high x 3ft wide x 2ft deep.
i wanted to heat it with a ceramic heat emitter instead of a heat mat or cord, but i haven't used one before. The only reason i don't want to use one is the electricity bill basically.
more to the point, should i put a separator halfway up the enclosure and have it warm on the top and cool below?
are there lower wattage heating options that still offer a basking spot rather than just a warm pad to lie on?
