hello im only new to this but i have a problem my tank wont get warm enough
i have a 800x600x600 terrainium its glass with a vent on top and on front i have a a4 size heat mat and about a 25mm base of reptile sand and a heat lamp that i only use at night when im home but is turned off when i go to bed but my tank only gets to about 21-25 with just the heat mat what can i do to make it warmer without the light?
maybe a heat cord under the sand?or under the glass?
and would a backdrop help with keeping it warm?
also is that tank to big for my stimson she is about a year old and about 60-70cm long and she just stays in one of her hides and never really comes out.. its probably because she is cold tho if you could pleas help me that would be great
