Tiny no keep it to your self other wise everyone will be down there some with the wrong idea
 
I'm pretty sure it's a Swamp Snake (H. signata), as sure as i can be using just that pic. The head is out of focus but there looks to be a white stripe running from the back of the eye to the neck which is indicative of a Swamp Snake.
 
Thats a pretty poor pic, but I would say a Swamp Snake. Very common around Newcastle. The only other it could be is a Krefts Dwarf, but from that pic I will stick to Swampy till a better pic is shown.
 
ok guys, apparently these things love the water, swim like champs, an this one was about a foot long, pic taken at barrington tops

maybe the swimming bit will help, pic is still pretty crap thopugh...looks like I am up for a trip to see if I can get a better shot
 
I think it is more than likely the rare species "drowned raticus" or "wettus behind the earus"

Can't tell by the pics.

Sorry couldn't resist.
