Help with eggs

Hi all,
I'm new to the egg issue so please bare with me.
Sometime today, my female Ackie has laid 4 eggs. (Unless she has hidden more) 2 were white and shrivelled, 2 were small, yellow and very hard. What can I do to help in the future?

sounds like they may not have been fertile, im not up to date with ackies but did a lot of study on larger monitors and they have to go through a proper cooling down period. is it her first clutch? how old is the female? did you seperate her from the male when she became gravid?
females will hold onto their eggs if they dont feel its a secure site to lay them. so many variations, did she have a good basking spot?
