help with shedding

My stimsons just shed, but has retained the very, very tip on the end of the tail. it's only one or two mil of skin. I tried to help it off but it was tricky being so thin at the end. Should I leave it or soak it and try to get it off? Thanks

While holding him just soak the tip in some tepid water.

Then with some light rubbing it should come away.
