Im a newbie to the whole herp thing. I am looking to get a spotted python soon and as it will be my first herp, any wise words and knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys for ur wisdom. i was wondering about the whole humidity aspect.

I guess why i wanted a spotted is that i have heard that they are a great snake for new herpers and i am not looking for a large snake just yet. maybe in a few years i will look to increase my collection.
